Two Men Face Charges Regarding Heathrow Alleged Pepper Spray Assault

Two individuals are now facing charges related to a suitcase robbery where a believed to be pepper spray caused injuries at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for administering a noxious substance, according to official statements.

This legal action stems from an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, police said.

A three-year-old girl was one of the people hurt in the event. Several persons required hospital care and were subsequently released.

This event – described by police as was not part of a series and not being treated as terrorism – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a short time.
